"The Bluths are back, Arrested Development to be a film!"

I may be in the minority here but I'm of the opinion that Arrested Development was overrated from day one. A small but vocal minority kept it on life support by touting it as "the best show you're not watching!" Enough people (myself included) took the bait again and treated themselves to a second helping of big fat disappointment.

I liked this show more than you but I agree that it isn't quite the masterpiece people would have you believe. I'm not sure this movie would make any money at all.

Man, really? I loved this show. I found it fresh and funny like nothing else on TV these days; I don't think it ever disappointed me like, say, one of those bad eps of Seinfeld that just make you uncomfortable.

Hype is a tricky beast. I like to think I ignore it but still I found myself picking at the bits of Lost that fell short of divine inspiration. JSP, it sounds like Arrested really didn't float your boat, but then again you kicked your credibility in the nuts when you said Blade Runner was boring,

I think JPX is right about the movie not making much money, but like Firefly/Serenity it'd be great for it to have a cinematic moment of sunlight before it vanishes completely.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I dug AR and have both seasons on DVD, but I can also see why it didn't catch on.

Man, that Blade Runner bit was like 2 weeks ago. Why you gotta bring that up again? Still, Blade Runner and AD are altogether different.

Plus, my credibility was shattered long, long before that. (I am after all, a KISS fan.)

Runaway was better...
