Damn Jordan, where've you been all these Horrorthon years!? Great stuff, being able to see these movies through the eyes of a newly converted zombie fan who expresses himself like you do. And the pictures are fantastic too.

One thing though - I was the one (not Octo) who said Romero had sour grapes.

Right! Sorry about that. I'll fix it.

I loved when the security team are watching Tom Savini on television and one of them admiringly says, "He's cool."

By the way, you guys realize that this is the director who's doing Watchmen, right?

Octo, there aren't any laughs any more...but what do you expect? The Comedian is dead.

Oh, I dunno.

Great fucking review, man, just fantastic (I read the comments first and now I'm back). You nailed down so many of the mechanisms by which that movie rocks, which I found very difficult. Did I say "rocks?" I meant "raahaaAAHHhhks."

And yes, they switched the premise around vis a vis the bites. It's been something of a side debate between Summerisle and myself since '04. I'll give the choice its props because that movie earned it, but I've always preferred the "every corpse gets up" premise myself. It's a metaphysical problem.

Thanks, man. I had to start with six frames before I said anything, because they really say it all, don't they?

Wow, I'm just blown away by this review, although you're still not giving these films any stars! I love that side-by-side cameo bit, I didn't catch all those when I watched it. So does this mean that you'll be on board for Horrorthon 2007, which is only 11 months away...
