Awesome, awesome technique. And I love the shot. I just wish there was a big rubber-suited monster running after her (I know that's not as 80's as a masked slasher, but that's my mood).
Everyone needs to leave JPX alone. I have all the pics. He only has those three because I emailed them to him this morning. I'll get one up of JPX as soon as I can. I haven't really had a chance to go through the images yet. I just edited this one before work over breakfast. Unfortunately, JPX's wardrobe needs more work. We were trying to find a super short coat, but could only find a short one, so he only ended up with a shirt and skinnny tie. It's not enough and so we are going to reshoot.
Octo, I love your idea about the monster, and a masked slasher is good too. The theme of the photos suddenly changed yesterday when the original plan wasn't working. It involved a beach ball and bubbles. The bubbles were a bust, and did not produce 10,000 per minute like it claimed. I'm considering suing the company, and one of the lawyers at my work has already agreed to take on my case.

So, I've looked over the rest of the images, and I've found some fun pics of JPX to post, with his permission only though. I need to go to bed, but I'll try to post them tomorrow. I've also been working on a video I put together from some of the photos. Hopefully, I'll get that up soon too.
Yesterday we had 70 degree weather here in R.I. and Whirlygirl decided that we should go hang out at the beach, and by “beach” she meant a creepy, dilapidated house that she is obsessed with in Newport. Donning a 80s get up we spent hours snapping pictures with her new awesome camera. Here's one of her pictures, which was the result of putting the camera on a tripod and setting it to snap 10 continues shots as she ran around like a lunatic. I think it has a cool surreal quality to it. Expect more interesting shots from this day...
