"There's Foam Everywhere!"

Nobody has anything to say? I'm shocked. I mean this is clearly a very serious problem. Look at all the foam! And it's not like that's some trivial area of the moonbase either...that's 'Main Mission Control,' where most of the important decision-making takes place. And, currently, it's full of foam (which has gotten in there through breaches in the moonbase walls, apparently; this part is ambiguous). Everyone is wearing atmospheric pressure suits (or, "space suits") which is probably a good idea given the amount of foam in the area and the difficulty of breathing when there's so much foam around; the spacesuits must interfere with normal "Main Mission" functions like typing, talking on the video intercom or attending the computer consoles on the walls. As I recall the foam was eventually removed from moonbase Alpha with little to no ongoing deleterious effects.

It's too bad they didn't have atmospheric pressure suits (or "space suits") on The Brady Bunch; maybe then they wouldn't have found Bobby's lifeless body wedged between the wall and the Wash-o-Lux. How Greg turned that room into his bedroom I'll never know.

As threatening or dangerous situations go "too much foam in the room" is admittedly a bit of a stretch which is why it's important that we try to empathise with the characters.

This is the key to all good fiction; a representation of certain "life situations" wherein we can explore our deepest understandings and feelings of what's happened, even if they be exaggerated or unlikely.

For example I have never had more foam in any particular room than was ideal for the situation. I try to keep the foam levels down in general; this is just the way I am.

Right! I, on the other hand, am in a room filled about chest-deep with foam. So in the story about me, to make it good, the foam would be over my head.

Exactly the point I was trying to make.

The most important question is, who got stuck cleaning it all up? I worry about these things.
