Some of my best memories from childhood are of jumping in the leaves. My Dad used to rake up a huge pile in front of our swingset and let us jump from the swings!!

I agree. I still love to take a walk and kick up leaves. When we were kids growing up in Chicago in the 50's, we would rake the leaves into the streets, and burn them at night. Pretty cool at the time.

I guess there is still a little kid in me. As I was finishing up a run recently and walking by your parent's house, they had a pile of leaves by the curb that were too tempting for me to resist...I fell back in them and did a leaf angel (kinda like a snow angel...but not as pretty). We don't have any leaves in our yard, so I was glad to have a bit of fun in my neighbors!
