You mean "on this TV you really see how bad SDTV is". I'm sure your cable company would be more than willing to sell you their HDTV package...

Yes... it's probably a plot by Shaw to push their HD service. But SD does look fantastic on it, if the source is OK. I saw an NTSC resolution Simpsons episode from DVD on it. Wow! The only time I saw such a vibrant crisp image of the Simpsons was at the theatre during the Simpsons movie. You do see some MPEG artifacts though in DVD playbacks. I guess it is also partly due to the connection. The cable box has S-Video output. The PS/3 DVD player has HDMI.

Ja, old-school kevers hadden inderdaad de motor achterin. De Porche Kever was inderdaad beter, maar daar had nooit een TV ingepast.

Ola Bram!

Leuk man! Ik heb net voor mijn vakantie een Sony KDL 40V2500 gekocht. Geen Full HD weliswaar, maar waarschijnlijk beschikbaar voor 'n iets lager budget. 40" ook en inderdaad - in je huiskamer is het een geweldig gezicht!

Enige probleem wat ik heb, is dat ik geen HD-films .WMV's met Windows Mediaspeler kan afspelen.. VLC geeft alleen beeld - geen geluid.

Gedoe met standaarden die geen standaarden zijn ;)
