Cycling in France is like a religion & I'd say close to being their national pastime - everybody does it or is involved in it in some way. When you drive in France, there's real respect for cyclists & most towns sport murals on public buildings, of local clubs/teams. Pretty close to cycling heaven, eh?!

I can see why they'd feel cycling could re-integrate people into the community...

on glastonbury - have you tried this reservoir entrance before? the paved, then dirt path, has a few trails off of it, which end up around here. of course, the main path ends at reservoir and circles it with narrower trails. i don't want to advertise it widely, but amongst the people on this blog is ok.
