*sigh* I have been to the science center dozens of times and had no idea there was bicycle parking in the garage. And do you know why? Because I have NEVER arrived in a car that would be parked in the garage! I've always locked mine on the plaza side and have had no trouble. I've also noted the irony that the CT Science Center, which prides itself on being so very eco, has no visible bike parking where cyclists would normally seek it out...by the front door!

One small bike display at the Science center for bicycles and no visible parking near the center for bicycles. Pope would have been disappointed.

Based on my contact with the CT Science Center, they should be adding more bike parking soon and improving their signage about the existing bike racks. They won't be putting racks by the Columbus Blvd entrance due to the high density bus dropoffs of school kids. That said, the railing on Columbus is prime parking.

That said, we'll keep an eye on it and make noise if it doesn't show up.

Was this the Sweepstake Spaceship? If so, I can understand that they wouldn't recognize that technological marvel as anything meant for ground-based transportation.

Haha Joel - It was the Kona Spaceship that particular evening. The Huff at 47 lbs would have trouble leaving earth orbit.

Now that I've replaced the chain guard the Huffy is no longer the "Sweepstakes" it's the "Good Vibrations Deluxe!"
