We caught the trailer to It's Complicated awhile back - I think it was during the Avatar movie, and I was set on watching it with my darling babyboo when it was out in the cinemas. So, last weekend, we managed to get tickets to the movie at Gardens' Signature GSC and I think it has gone into my list on one of the funniest movies I've ever watched!
[Image]When you put 3 very seasoned stars together in a movie - you usually get some really good stuffs, and this was indeed very good. Alec Baldwin - I had always enjoyed watching his movies after the first movie that I watched of his years ago - Mercury Rising. He did many movies - but I would say not many other good ones; the last I remembered was Fun with Dick and Jane - featuring Jim Carrey. Steve Martin on the other hand is amongst one of my favourite comedians! His recent movies include The Pink Panther and the 1st one I've watched of his was Bowfinger. Hehehe... Oh - and lets not forget Meryl Streep - the lady from The Devil Wears Prada - I had mistaken her for Glenn Close in the 101 Dalmations, but anyways, she's a seasoned star and she created a lot of laughter in this movie as well.
Basically It's Complicated is a romantic comedy - featuring a divorced lady who's slowly overcoming her ex-husband remarrying. And then somehow they end up having an affair like 10 years later. Situation gets complicated when she's being pursued by her architect. Basically, she's in a very complicated situation of trying to choose between the two - and eventually ends up with...
FOR THAT... you have to go watch the movie. I'm not gonna come up with too much spoilers here. Its just really funny watching the movie - especially Alec Baldwin who comes up with all kinds of funny antics to impress his ex-wife. Hehe.. These are the type of situations that you would never ever imagine happening - and it happened in the movie.
Okay - thats all for now. Ohh, I cant wait to catch IRONMAN 2 at the end of this month!
