According to online sources, Google is planning to reveal its latest touch-screen smart phone - called the Nexus One. The Nexus One - comes with a highly developed touch screen as well as other good enhancements from its previous G-phone T-Mobile series ones. [Image]So, what does Google has to say about this new phone? Apparently, the Nexus One phone is Google's completely new phone. The phone, with Google's Android operating system, is however reportedly made by the mobile phone maker HTC. [Image]I've done a little research of the phone - and here are some of its good features - good thing to take note of. 1. It has a large screen. With a 3.7 inch screen, it is fantastically large - but can be far too big though. But loading and watching videos would be very good cos the WVGA resolution would make the images look very sharp. [Image] 2. OLED display.Apart from being a huge display, the Nexus One's screen is also an OLED, rather than LCD. Not only does this allow the device to be thinner but also have better colour reproduction too. 3. Its fast! The Nexus One uses a Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm, kicking along at 1GHz. Now you can load a large number of pics under Gallery, load up lots of lists and emails and general web browsing in super fast time. We shall see how fast it is. [Image] 4. An improved camera. There's a much better and improved camera in this new Nexus One.[Image] 5. Its very slim.At under 1.2cm, I think Google has got quite a winner here with the super slim frame. HTC has done a great job with ensuring the frames are thin and handy. Its very pocket friendly and you are able to slip it in your jeans very easily. With all of the above, plus no network tie-ins, this means the phones would reach Malaysia pretty soon. But my main concern is - would the Nexus One be able to beat the Blackberry? That would be interesting to see.
