please excuse me if this has already been discussed here. I've been out of the loop on recent developments in the "fast and furious" story. My question is:
If a sitting president can be sued over a lewd act he'd committed before coming into the office, why hasn't the current president been sued for wrongful death, in the matter of Brian Terry, or any of the other hundreds of victims?
The Terry family has filed a lawsuit against ATF-I suspect the reason they haven't gone higher is because their lawyer wants to win and you go with what's been established with a preponderance of evidence standard--the stuff that's still being stonewalled and withheld would be a matter for another day providing enough corroborating evidence can ultimately be obtained. It's another reason why I tried to get people to contact Mitt Romney and help us get that pledge he's been avoiding.
