This became obvious long ago when we admitted we were at major risk from infiltrators carrying suitcase nukes, and when the most costly act of terrorism and mass murder in history was carried out with a half dozen box-cutters. It’s why the only possible security of a free state is still an actively armed citizenry, but nononono, we can’t have that!
