Got a hot one for ya. One of the privates there said," Overseas, you're ready for it. Here, you can't even defend yourself". How telling. But even this is not true. I was sent out with my platoon to comb the nearby woods in Germany, with empty rifles, to look for a heavily armed member of Bieder Meinhof. The Army is run by a bunch of old grannies too scared to trust the NCOs and Officers, much less the privates.

This was bound to happen sooner or later and comes as no surprise to anyone with any knowledge of Islam. Expect even worse to come, including spectacular acts of sabotage against military/industrial targets. See links under

David,

It seems it's far worse than you know.

Nidal Hasan was an advisor to Obama's Homeland Security Policy Institute's presidential transition task force last year.

Sources have sinced dismissed the idea that Hasan did anything much.

I'm keeping up with the reports. The point of this was to talk about something no one in the "official" media is mentioning.

Ruthless appllication of the same logic after the VTech incident results in the conclusion that the military can no longer be trusted with firearms. Puts a bit of a crimp in their ability to perform their mission but there ya go.
