While I don't doubt that there is a very large number of people seeking government handouts, those are NOT the "top ten things people are searching for on the internet today", merely the ten most common searches which begin with "how do I qua". "Qualify" is a term I've rarely encountered in the private sector, but is heavily used within government.
The fellow could use a little less hyperbole, since the actual problem is extremely serious as-is and doesn't need embellishment.
