Introduction has been in the courts and justice world since walking off Wall St years ago; never looked back (because they weren't gaining on me) and enjoyed most of the ride--even assorted rough spots--spent almost three yrs as Exec Dir of Natl Prison Rape Elimination Commission--just saying it is a conversation stopper; now am consulting for justice improvement and rule of law projects, for a few years mostly overseas and then at American Univ., where I was a Research Assoc. Professor and taught comparative law and justice systems and consulted on caseflow management. Back in the justice system as Victims' Rights Compliance Coordinator for Maryland and then represented victims seeking criminal injuries.compensation before a board and in the state trial and appellate courts.
Interests anything theatrical from opera to the circus, Horatio Alger and other 19th century American authors for juveniles, most sports, including cricket, travel in general, Civil War/Lincoln, courts, justice systems, trains
