Introduction	I have retired from teaching and started my third age with studying photography with the Open College of Art - this opened up the world of the internet and blogging. I am presently studying for my C&G in Creative Quilt Making.
Interests	photography, art, textiles, art journaling, sketch book, painting, gardening, the natural world, curious facts, reading, other people's lives
Favorite Movies	My interests are wide, but it has to tell a good story or be visually engaging or thought provoking, but preferably all three.
Favorite Music	My house is bursting with music, I usually say I like this, who is it? and immediately forget!
Favorite Books	So many, too many, but here's a sprinkle of newish ones, anything by Kate Atkinson and Ian McEwan, Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier, If Nobody Speaks of Remarkable Things by Jon McGregor, The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy, The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
