| Introduction | Crafting...has been in my heart, since I could walk. My favorite things are: yarn,buttons,beads,looms,and fabric. When I was a child, I suffered from abuse, by the hands of my stepmother. Unfortunately...I was kept in my bedroom, for weeks at a time. Crafting became my sanity. We were very poor, so old clothing and rags, was all i had to work with. And when Christmas came around, all I wanted, was yarn, knitting needles....anything, I could get a chance to learn, and master. Now...at the age of 50, I love to teach children how to knit,crochet anything, crafty. Loom knitting, is my favorite thing to teach younger kids. I believe they should be taught at least 1 craft...to set them off to the world of crafts. Its so nice to see a 7 year old, sitting quietly knitting something,they can proudly show people, they have made, themselves. |

| Favorite Books | I love true stories...(not love stories)....but true stories of real ppl. I have read alot of fiction, also. Stephan King, is ONE author I used to lean toward. Dean Koontz, is another. I Have poetry, stuck forever in my head..... Good poems...are always food for the sole. Then of course my craft books. I never can get enough, on learning new stitches soooo............. knitting, crocheting books. I have to put on my list. |
