Introduction Am descended from a full-blooded Native Hawaiian mother and Caucasian father from Alabama. On mother's side trace my ancestry back to the first Polynesian settlers to the Hawaiian Islands who arrived almost 2,000 years ago from Tahiti and the Tuamotu's. On father's side I trace my ancestry to John Davenport, Puritan clergyman who co-founded New Haven, Conn. in 1638. Am the author of the internationally best-selling novels, SHARK DIALOGUES, SONG OF THE EXILE, HOUSE OF MANY GODS, and the forth-coming THE SPY LOVER. Have also published two collection of stories as ebooks. HOUSE OF SKIN, PRIZEWINNING STORIES, and CANNIBAL NIGHTS, PACIFIC STORIES VOL. II. Both have been Kindle Bestsellers. A graduate of Univerity of Hawaii, I was also a Bunting Fellow in Writing at Harvard University, and recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts in Writing. My short stories have won numerous O.
