Introduction I'm retired from the US Navy and lived my career. I'm happily married (2nd) to a wonderful man I met at a church dance. Together we have 1 handsome son, 3 gorgeous daughters, 1 lovely daughter-in-law, 3 fine son-in-laws, 3 cute grandsons, as well as my little daughter in Heaven. I am grateful to be a Mormon convert. I am grateful for the many blessings from Heavenly Father in my life, including a multitude of talents and gifts. I have come to discover recently that I thought was a door that closed, was fact, a window. Many life windows seem to have a way of opening and closing.
Interests I have sooo many! Family, Friends, Nature (I adore these wonderful Rocky Mountains, ) Photography, Directing Choir, Square Dancing, Music, Volunteering @ Lory State Park, Hiking, Snow shoeing, Church, Camping, Teaching, Crafts, Traveling, Genealogy, Gamecock Football, Geology and rocks in general, Environmental awareness and responsibility, Avoiding dangerous food additives and GMO's, Organic Gardening, Animals (I'm not the PETA type though), Insects and other tiny creatures, (well, not all of them), Essential Oils, Making my own natural cleaning products, Helping others learn about Hollistic Medicine vs Allopathic Medicine and how they can help their bodies naturally first before having to take synthetic drugs - of course, certain situations require immediate, proper professional medical attention. (That is what I was trained to do in the Navy, and will default to this when the situation warrants it.) Cooking, Fishing, Encouraging others, using social media and multimedia devices like my Samsung Note IV phone, Boating ...

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?

Likely due to the components of blood. It often has a metallic taste because of the trace metals. There should be more iron than copper in it though. Pennies are only part copper these days. It's been years since I've had one in my mouth. I don't really recall what they taste like. I also haven't lost a tooth in abt 35 years. Thanks to the dentist, I am recently aware of the taste of blood.
