Introduction I'm a newly married seminary student who is completely in love with her husband, is in love with life, is struggling to figure out what it means to love her denomination while trying to change it, and is attempting to keep her first love alive while on the journey through seminary. I'm also pastoring a church with my husband, and it's quite the trip figuring out how to minister together. I invite you to come along with me as I struggle, discern, rant, celebrate, and sort my way through all the jumbled thoughts in my head. On a more practical level, I'm headed into my third year at seminary, interested in moving the mainline church forward into the postmodern age, fascinated by neo-monasticism, love to knit (though badly), and enjoy drinking chai tea, watching sunsets, and talking into the wee hours of the morning with friends.
Favorite Movies Princess Bride, Love Actually, Lord of the Rings, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Star Wars (the original ones!!!)
Favorite Music Jars of Clay, Switchfoot, U2, Norah Jones, Beethoven, Dave Brubeck, Billy Joel, The Beatles, Third Day, Sara Groves, TobyMac, Derek Webb, ...suggest a few because I'm always looking for new artists!
Favorite Books Celebration of Discipline, Lord of the Rings, The Little Prince, Harry Potter, The Irresistible Revolution, almost anything science fiction or fantasy
