Introduction I am a retired middle school librarian, married for 36 years, mother of 4 (Rob, Becky, Kristi and Allie), Nana of 6 (Atticus, Jack, Reba, Lillian, Reilly and Emily). Before my husband retired in June 2010 I spend most of my free time quilting - planning quilts, shopping for fabrics, reading about quilts (how-to's and fiction), patchwork and paper piecing, hand and some machine quilting, and sharing my love of quilting with friends and at our local Senior Center. When I am not quilting I love to travel with my husband, visit our kids and grandkids and other family members, and vacation in Hatteras in the summer with our kids. I also enjoy reading, even books that aren't about quilting! We moved from Lexington, VA to McDonough, GA after hubby retired. Since that time I've been busy getting us settled here, and making short trips to see the 3 of our 4 kids who live in the Atlanta area. Now that we have a little extra time since the Braves' season is over for this year I am hoping to get back to some quilting projects.
