Introduction	"Poots" is my nickname given to me by my husband. The little picture shown here is me with my miniature schnauzer, Rubie. She is such an inspiration and the love I have for her is amazing. Rubie and I have separate blogs - but I do have to "supervise" hers! I live in Australia and "retired" prior to 40. That was a few years ago now. I'm very fortunate. I had a hard work life and even ran my own small business in a tough industry. That's the way the cards fell I guess. This blog is here to allow me to enjoy my "early retirement" and share the bits I want to share. I am crafty and love cooking, but most of all I want to find ways to allow me to look at my life and enrich it and savour it - after all - we never know how long we have got!!
