| Introduction | I have lived on Long Island my whole life, and became an Islander fan during the late 90's. I went to my first game in 2000, and at that point I knew I was hooked for good. I got familiar with the players, the rules and everything else about the NHL. I couldn't wait for the offseason to begin in the summer of 2001. It turned out the Isles would add Alexei Yashin, Michael Peca, Chris Osgood and Adrian Aucoin. All four were key players in getting the Isles back on the NHL map. It seemed I had chosen a good time to really start paying attention. Now I am hooked on the Isles, and are one of those avid fans, whether it's watching the games, reading about them online and everything in between. Finally after 2 years about contemplating a blog, I finally decided to start it. I hope you enjoy reading my opinions and rumors as much as I like providing them to you. I am also the co-host for the radio show NYI FYI. |
