| Introduction | I'm a 30 something female living in Luxor, Egypt. I've been married to my British/Egyptian husband for 12 years and we live here with our 5 year old son and his little brother who is 1. There are plenty of blogs about Egyptology and Egyptian Politics all written by amazing people who can write about these subjects far better than me. Oranges by the Nile is just about simple living, cooking, gardening and bringing up a young family in the place known as "The largest open air Museum in the World".
