Introduction Although I have reached important personal goals over the years, there is so much still to learn. I've been a full-time fine artist (once again my current pursuit), teacher, college provost, musician, Black Belt in Okinawan Shuri-Ryu Karate. I have an intelligent, beautiful wife, great children and grandchildren. My father, a WWII veteran, New Guinea under MacArthur, Pacific Theater, career Air Force -a father who attempted to teach his maverick son common sense, to work hard, importance of ethics, discipline and standards. My Australian mother, on her way to 90, is brilliant (member of Mensa), who teaches me still, that every day is to enjoy and not complain. The most decent man I ever knew was my older brother. He too, was an Air Force career man. My only sibling, Daniel E. Walker was murdered, along with his daughter, by her jealous ex-boyfriend, Dan Renwick in Tucson in 2000. Renwick escaped prison in August 2010, but was captured by U.S.Marshals. The violent death of loved ones brings new perspectives to the survivors.
