Introduction Ms R was once a copywriter. In between availing herself of the lavish hospitality of various directors, photographers and fine restaurants, she wrote award winning ads for major clients. It was too much fun so she switched to the corporate world where she pretended to fit in. These days she is a corporate refugee, freelance marketing consultant, ghostwriter of eight books and contributor to Elle Decoration and other style magazines. Despite her impeccable pedigree, she is astonishingly down to earth; just like you really. At some point she lived with a tall, blonde man she met on a beach. They are no longer together but remain best friends. She is single, though not all the time. theladyrobinsonATyahooDOTcom
Interests Pretending to write when I'm not. Lying to people and saying I'm busy writing for them when I'm not. World class kissing.
Favorite Movies The Hairdresser's Husband (now that is true eroticism) Etre et Avoir, After Hours..that's enough.
Favorite Music Live and not played loudly in a bar when I'm trying to talk to someone. Artists I don't wholly get: Lily Allan, Franz Ferdinand (as pop artists..fine as theatrics) Kaiser Chiefs (why?) modern era R&B which is just misogynistic and sounds the same. I'm still an Indie kid at heart.
Favorite Books Revolutionary Road (long before it became a film and Nick Hornby was blurbed on the cover) by Richard Yates: a brilliant story and every paragraph a lesson in how to write, The Sportswriter - in fact most of Richard Ford's books. Also books by people who aren't called Richard but who are often American.

Paper or briefs?

Paper briefs? Have you ever worn them? They're awful.
