Introduction	Everyday is a new day. No matter how down I get today, there is always a new beginning tomorrow. What is impossible today will be possible tomorrow. I love music. I love to listen, and I love to create. Books are also a passion. Plus, I love to cook and eat, and I enjoy wine and scotch. I will probably share a recipe from time to time, if I can remember the measurements. I like improvising, both music and cooking. I love long, rambling walks with no destination in mind.
Favorite Movies	I don't watch a lot of movies generally, and there are many movies I have not seen (often to the surprise of others. Forest Gump for example? I still have no desire to see it). Movies I do love include Singin' In the Rain, Holiday Inn, Casablanca, Empire Stikes Back, Inglorious Basterds, Bandits (Germany, 1997ish?), Rhythm on the River, A Night at the Opera, Run, Lola, Run, The Godfather, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Wings of Desire, Young Frankenstein
Favorite Music	The Cure, Rush, Einstürzende Neubauten, Igor Stravinsky, Ludwig von Beethoven, Django Reinhardt, Irving Berlin, Bing Crosby, Sir Richard Bishop, Nels Cline, Vladimir Horowitz, Alexander Scriabin, Throwing Muses, Fred Astaire, Oscar Levant, Luciano Pavarotti, Patricia Petibon, Miles Davis, Patricia Barber, Hall & Oates, Marx Brothers, Portishead, Julian Bream, Wilhelm Fürtwangler, Lindsey Buckingham, Mstislav Rostropovich, Gustav Mahler, Dmitri Shostakovitch, George Gershwin and many, many more. As I said above, I love music.
Favorite Books	Guns, Germs & Steel by Jared Diamond; Ghost Rider by Neil Peart; The Rest Is Noise by Alex Ross; Bloodsucking Fiends by Christopher Moore; The Master & Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov; Thunderstruck by Erik Larson and finally, Temperament by Stuart Isacoff. At least at the moment.
