Introduction The first born son of a father who worked on the Track assembling Mini's at the Longbridge Car Plant, and a mother from the Rhondda Valley in Wales. I came into this world in the Summer of 1962 and spent an idylic few years in Stoke Prior surrounded by the green fields of Worcestershire. Growing up in the 1960s was a time of tremendous optimism and hope, my dad was an 'affulent worker', our home was filled with love. Going to School and moving to the city was a brutalising and radicalising experience which led me to become a socialist, internationalist activist. By the '80's Thatcher and Regan were on the offensive against the working class and across the globe things got nasty. In my profile pic I sit at the feet of the Harold Wilson Statue in Huddersfield watching my son Jordan prepare an Anti-War placard on our way to join thousands of others demonstrating against the Iraq/Afghanistan Wars at Labour Party Conference in Manchester in 2006. After 4 decades of struggle I remain a blacklisted, impoverished and unrepentant rebel who seeks to pass on any insights I have gained for the benefit of the new generation who believe 'Fair is worth Fighting For'
