| Introduction | My love for fashion started when I was at primary school and my teacher would wear Prada shoes and Calvin Klein dresses. By the age of eight I started to go through my mamma's magazines trying to learn all the fashion brands advertised in them. My idol is Gabrielle Chanel, and it my sound like a banal statement that every teenager who loves fashion says, but for me this designer is much more. She is what I consider a real feminist, someone that truly revolutionised women's life and made what we are in this century. Sadly my budget on clothes is a bit limited so I can't afford Prada bags or Jimmy Choo shoes. Thankfully I find that not having all the most beautiful fashion items can be an incentive for creativity and imagination. Most of my clothes come from the market in my town and I must confess that I find it very liberating and satisfying digging through old clothes and finally finding the ONE! So I hope you will enjoy reading my blog and get some inspiration from my outfits, and remember expensive doesn’t mean beautiful! |
