| Introduction | Living my best life in West Central Alabama on a farm. My husband and I retired last year with the dream of living and working the farm. I lost my husband and best friend in April 2020. I still hold onto the dream of our farm. I am raising chickens and learning how to grow in the Alabama red clay. I hope that someday my children will get the homesteading bug and join me but until then I will do my best to transform my surroundings into a productive farm. I am hoping to inspire others to try something new and maybe learn from my failures and my success. Watch me while I repair old out buildings and learn to operate a tractor. | Favorite Books | Anything Steven King, The Stand is my favorite. I love, The Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan, The Majipoor Chronicles by Robert Silverberg, and I am currently reading R.A. Salvatore, The Dark Elf Series. I love, science fiction. |
