| Interests | Other things that make me happy: Early morning in the desert, summer thunderstorms, sitting on a porch while it's raining, seeing the first shoots of flowers coming up in the spring in my garden, successfully doing a technical trail on my mt. bike, a purring cat on my lap, the rainforest, canoeing on a river or lake in the early morning, biking with my friends, watching a woodcock in the spring, hearing the first woodfrogs and spring peepers, horseback riding in the fall, the smell of a greenhouse, a good book, a new pair of socks, traveling to new places, learning something new, the dictionary, strawberry-rhubarb pie, interesting people, my microscopes, the smell of hay and freshly mown grass, when snowflakes glitter on the ground, tide pools and all the cool things in them, the mountains out west, a massage, the smell of old fashioned roses and lilacs, a good hug, making someone laugh, giving someone the perfect present and watching them open it |
