| Introduction | So a bit about why this blog is up and running. I am starting to get into sewing and knitting and I thought what a better way to express my triumphs, mistakes and nervous moments! :) I love 40s and 50s clothing, I think the style is really beautiful. I have never made clothing before so it's going to be exciting, especially as I have recently brought some rather nifty 50s dress patterns! It makes me get excited thinking about it! |

| Favorite Books | My absolute favourite is Dracula- Bram Stoker, Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, The Restaurant at the end of the universe, most of Thomas Hardy's novels, attempting to read all of Shakespeare's sonnets, PG Wodehouse...I have so many Ancient History books that I love, I like reading any subject, I have utterly random books on Biology, Insects, Earth sciences, Renaissance, Notre Dame, the list goes on and on! Although that does not necessarily mean I have read them all! :D |
