| Introduction | I am a Professor of Web Science at the University of Southampton, studying the impact of the Web on human society, and vice versa. I am a Director of the Web Science Institute and its Doctoral Training Centre, where we run MScs and PhDs about the Web and the Digital Economy. One of the areas I have a specialist interest in is the research industry, so I am an e-researcher in e-Research, a repository manager, the Technical Director for EPrints repository software and the Director of EPrints Services, a repository hosting company that funds software development for EPrints. |
