| Introduction | Somewhere between child #2 and #3 people quit commenting on how nice & clean my house was all the time - Now the only compliment we can hope for is "Well it looks like someone's been having fun!" This phase of life is chaotic & impossible to keep neat & tidy, but unbelievably fulfilling. We're keenly aware that it's also fleeting, and this blog is the result of my need to ignore the mess for a minute and make time to write down the things the kids say and do that I'd otherwise have forgotten by next week. This blog is really just for me and the kids, so that one day when they no longer fight over who gets to sit on my lap or drown me in kisses or show me off to their friends like I'm a celebrity, I can go back and be reminded how WORTH IT it was to live in chaos and filth all those years. |
