| Interests | I love to cook, garden, knit, crochet, read, walk, yak with my hubby, watch great movies, paint, sew, be with my dogs, be with myself. (That last part is the introvert in me talking.) My blog helps me cope as someone who really isn't that "into" the whole people thing. But I'm happy to share great food and a few glimpses into our life occasionally. The world is full of great food but the BEST of it is on a plate in our kitchen. We began a gradual vegan transition twelve years ago. I believe food is a personal choice. We have a flexible eating program in our home: mostly vegan, some gluten-free and some vegetarian. I'm in my mid-fifties now. Life has changed. Being a vegan is probably why I've survived THIS long! I share our vegan eats here on this blog mostly. If you aren't a vegan--please know, no one is going to judge you here--I have friends from all walks of the eating spectrum. The important part is that we all get along! Being kind matters. Please respect the photos and recipes on this blog. I pay great attention to details like giving credit where credit is due.
