Introduction | a 45-year-old who has not yet learned to give up racing a bicycle. |
Favorite Movies | I just watched The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, a documentary about They Might Be Giants, and the Marx Brothers' Duck Soup. |
Favorite Music | Too many to list...but...The New York Dolls, Sonic Youth, Mick Taylor-era Rolling Stones (they stunk after they added Ron Wood), The Faces, The Velvet Underground, Beruit, The Hives, Alejandro Escovedo, Mazzy Starr, The Brunettes, The 1990s, King Khan, Iggy and the Stooges, Uncle Tupelo, and Lightspeed Champion. |
Favorite Books | Better to ask what I'm reading currently.... Right now: george Eliot's Middlemarch, a New Testament in the original Greek, Charles Wright's collection of poems Littlefoot, some Eveyln Underhill essays, and Cycle Sport magazine. Oh - and the inevitable roadside graffiti on the way to Rock Hill High each morning. |
Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?
Expandability. Eventually, I will be able to use my elasto-super-power to stretch my arms from Charleston to Greenville. This skill will be invaluable if I am on vacation and realize that I left something at home.
