| Introduction | I am married and in my 40s. I am the mother of a 5-year-old, adorable and sweet little girl. I was born in Iowa and lived my whole life there, until I got the wanderlust at about age 26. Since then, I have lived in Washington, Utah, Ohio, Idaho, and now Michigan. I enjoy quilting and sewing (but I stink at sewing clothes!). I also enjoy machine embroidery, paper crafts, knitting, and various sundry other crafts. My husband puts up with a lot, but he makes fun of my absurd stash of crafting supplies. He is gracious enough to build or renovate a room for me wherever we go so that I have some "studio" space. I am fortunate that he is so handy and so generous! My crafting keeps me sane...it helps me deal with the stress of work and (hopefully) makes me a better wife, mother, and all around person! |
