Introduction Regina Jeffers is the author of several Jane Austen adaptations, as well as Regency romance, including Darcy's Passions, Darcy's Temptation, Vampire Darcy's Desire, The Phantom of Pemberley, Vampire Darcy's Desire, Christmas at Pemberley, Captain Wentworth's Persuasion, The Disappearance of Georgiana Darcy, The Mysterious Death of Mr. Darcy, The Scandal of Lady Eleanor, A Touch of Velvet, A Touch of Cashémere, A Touch of Grace, The First Wives' Club, Honor and Hope, and Second Chances. She considers herself a Janeite and works often with the Jane Austen Society of North America. A teacher for 39 years, she has been named a Time Warner Star Teacher, a Martha Holden Jennings scholar, and a Columbus Educator Award winner. Having previously served as a guest panelist for the Smithsonian, Jeffers has spent time on several national education committees and is often sought after as a media literacy consultant.
