Introduction	Do you lose things--keys, phone, thimble, your cup of coffee--only to discover after frantic searching, that the lost thing was right in front of you all the time? That's me. For years, I looked frantically for a purpose in life, a career to prepare for,for what I was going to do when I grew up. I finally realized that my purpose had been in front of me all along--God had patiently turned my face over and over again back to the purpose He had given me. God's purpose for my life is to live it--to spend my days and years doing what comes each day, loving the people He has given me to love, making a home, creating lasting memories, sharing warmth and love through my quilts, my cooking, my time, and my home. I've been married to my best friend for 28 years---he was the first person I met on my first day in grad school. We have two amazing kids--our son is finishing a teacher training program and will soon be teaching science; our daughter is a gifted, classically trained pianist. We also have a very sweet, not-to-bright cat whom we love very much. I'm blessed with great friends, a wonderful church, and a beautiful home town in the heart of Georgia.
Interests	Quilt making, hand quilting, applique, quilt history, reading, baking, spending time with my husband, children, and friends
