Introduction I spent almost 25 years in a marriage filled with domestic violence...both emotional and physical. However, always desiring to do the 'right' thing, I stayed within this environment until "one particular day". I should say that throughout this time, I was very successful in many areas of my life. From the time I was a child, viewing on TV the horrors of racial strife and injustices within the borders of my own country...a deep ache began to develop within my heart. It was here that the passion for justice and lasting peace began taking root deep within my heart. ------------------- These are two quotes that have had a profound impact upon my life...both quotes are from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. "Undeserved suffering is always redemptive". "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere". ----------------------- Domestic violence is both undeserved suffering and an injustice. -------------
Interests Helping others to become free of the trap of domestic violence, going cross-culturally, erasing the barriers between people in the areas of racial/ethnic/socio-economical and religious differences. --------------- My primary interest is my family. I have the most wonderful brothers & sisters anyone could ever desire. My parents the best! I saw my handsome father work occasionally more than one job at a time to feed all us "kids". When we lost our Dad at a young age, it felt as if we wouldn't survive without him. Our Mom was a tower of courage for her "kids". She is my Mom due to the fact she gave birth to me...but she's my friend by choice. If it weren't for her steadfastness, I'd have not made it through such dark times. To my family, I owe a debt of gratitude that could never be repaid. To simply say "I love my family" is an understatement of vast proportions.

What reason do you have to believe the earth is flat?

There are no reasons to believe the earth is flat...just as there are no reasons to believe there is no God.
