Introduction After a decade in the software business at Microsoft, I've moved on to become an eco-mompreneur. Jules (my great pal and fellow mompreneur) and I are embarking upon an experiment...to create hip, vintage, high-style totally sustainable eco-chic kids clothing. I have two lovebug girls that i spend heaps of time with - Sienna & Tess. They are super yummy. My husband is my best friend and my soulmate - Jacques - a quirky funny loving frenchman from Paris. i live in the wine country in northern california and am surrounded by veggie gardens, orchards, vineyards, animals, love, family, friends and abundant life. I believe in peace, love, compassion, family and nurturing the environment and all living things - while having fun, learning, growing, laughing & experiencing a life filled with joy. I hold an MBA from UCLA with an International Management Fellowship, and a BA from University of Washington. I am a Fellow of the Leadership Institute for the Ecology & the Economy, and I sit on the boards of the Institute for Environmental Entrepreneurship (which created the GreenMBA program at Dominican University) and the Windsor Educational Foundation.
Interests living sustainably, hanging with my kids, enjoying life, skiing, hiking, camping, cooking, exercising, loving friends & family
Favorite Music have been loving lots of french music at the moment - especially camille and a few others like Nouvelle Vague & Karen Ann. Lilly Allen is playful and fun too, also love michael franti, jacques (my husband), funky global mixes, ethnic vibes, radio station NOVA in paris..basically a totally eclectic, funky, surprising, beautiful set of artists!
Favorite Books I just read What is the What which is an incredible novel on the plight of children in the Southern Sudan. I like a mix of fiction and non-fiction, depending on what I need at the moment. Also love autobiographies like Nelson Mandella's. Another incredibly moving and painful book to read is Long Way Home - a boy soldier's true story of his journey in Sierra Leone.
