Introduction I was introduced to hybridizing in 1974 by Earl Roberts, founder of the Median Iris Society. My early goal was to bring classic, velvety amoenas and neglectas into modern form. I'm still developing and introducing some of those lines, though the vast range of beauty of the iris has coaxed me into pursuing other avenues, as well. I'm located along the tidal Potomac near Mount Vernon, Virginia. My website is http://www.pilmore.com/griffinsden/default.html. I'm considerably older than the accompanying photo, but what the heck -- it's more flattering!
Interests archaeology, anthropology, Irish literature, iris hybridizing
