Introduction I am a kindergarden teacher, who in 1996 found my true calling as a silver smith/jewelry artist/designer. My training comes from many silver smithing summer classes in Norway and Ireland, and for the rest I am self taught. My jewelry style varies from traditional filigree work to modern style, and a combination of the two. I work mostly with silver, with the occational addition of stones and beads. I work in my own home studio. I also like to try out other areas of crafts. I am totally hooked on photography, and I find myself always carrying a camera, and spending a lot of time using it. In "Journey to life" I have documented my husband Sigve's journey from being admitted to hospital in August 2010, with a leukemia diagnosis, through stem cell transplant treatment. "A picture in time" is my photo blog. In "My Small Stones" I share a bit of writing, drawing and more photography.
