Introduction I was raised in a broken and Christless home. A home where there was no love. I had a rough childhood and an even rougher adulthood. I have made numerous mistakes and live amid unforgiveness from family as well as friends. I have long since turned away from my past and I am being transformed by the love of God. That is my background in the smallest nutshell. Now, I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I am still learning and growing and, as time passes I realize just how important it is to focus not on others, but on myself and my own personal walk with the Lord. It has been my experience that this is the only way to grow and mature. In doing this, I am naturally drawn to others in love. I pray for them and do not sit in judgement on them. I don't forget my own nature; that fallen sinful nature. I will remember that my Savior, Jesus, works in me and through me.He alone gives me the strength to accomplish all. I have recently obtained both my bachelor and my master's degrees from a local Christian Seminary and I am currently in the midst of writing my first book. I write as the Lord leads and I hope you enjoy my blogs. God Bless!
Interests My greatest interest is to see myself and others follow Christ. To deny ourselves, to pick up our cross and to follow him daily, are not burdens, but blessings because they mature us into being more like Him. Sometimes they are heavy, yes, but inevitably, they are rich in their blessings. The more I put this into practice, the more I celebrate the unexplainable joy of the supernatural love of God. I recall 1Corinthians 13: "If I have not love, I am nothing." There is a cost to love. It is worth the price to pay. I am hopeful that many people will relate to my posts, will join me in this journey, and will share their thoughts and lives with me as well.
