Introduction	My name is Dana (pronounced day-na) ... I'm complex and eclectic - and I like me that way. :) I'm a stay at home mom, wife, artist and student of life. As an artist, I am self-taught and self-representing in the primitive and folk art style. I'm the partner and friend of one fantastic man and mom to seven pretty nifty kids. Creating has always been an outlet for me, but lately my creative energy has been stifled by stressful life circumstances. I'm slowing on finding my groove back and gradually breaking out of a "funk" and low self-esteem about my artwork. When the muses whisper, I enjoy creating folk art and primitives as well as the occasional mixed media piece. You might also find me making goats milk soap, sea salt or sugar scrubs & soy candles ... too. Oh yes, and I love to play in the kitchen. I cook using whole ingredients and from scratch. We try to eat according to paleo/primal standards which are grain-free and limited dairy. I've not convinced my kids that cereal is worth giving up... and for me, the dairy thing can be hard because I really love cheese. ;) Give me raw milk, preferably from a goat... and I'm as happy as a clam.
