Introduction	I have two kids, one husband, three dogs, and two deaf cats. My first novel was published in 2009, but my writing career almost ended before it began when I was in a near-fatal head-on collision with a drunk driver just as Gumbo Justice was scheduled for release. After seven months of surgeries to have titanium rods, plates and screws in my legs and arm, I always say I'm still kicking, just not as high.

Favorite Movies	The Godfather (original), The Mummy (the original), Dirty Dancing, While You Were Sleeping, Serenity, Pitch Perfect.
Favorite Music	New Politics, Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, 21 Pilots, Maroon Five, One Direction, the Vamps, Jason Derulo.
Favorite Books	Anything by Hemingway, Gumbo Justice, Iris Johansen, John Sandford, Tami Hoag, the Stephanie Plum series.
