Introduction Welcome to my <span disclosure="full"> sponsored blog. The ground rules are thus: I write about stuff that's generally related to SQL Anywhere, and I don't say too many libelous things about Sybase or the people who work there. Being a member of Team Sybase (http://www.teamsybase.com/members.html) I should probably try to stick to the Morals Clause in the team agreement, plus there are some Non-Disclosure Agreements that I shouldn't violate too often. Good luck to me! </span> I am principal consultant at RisingRoad Professional Services. In 1995 I began working with SQL Anywhere 5.5 and SQL Remote, and in 1998 with MobiLink. Today I work with many clients like Simbex, Topaz and Silverback/Dell and the North Carolina Department of Transport, and I have served as Expert Witness and Special Master in court cases involving database synchronization. I am also a member of Team iAnywhere and the iAnywhere Solutions Customer Advisory Board. I am author of SQL Anywhere Studio 9 Developer's Guide published by Wordware Publishing in Plano, Texas in 2004. I have also published articles at Dr. Dobbs, Developer.com, SD Times and the SQL Anywhere Developer's Corner at iAnywhere.com.
