| Introduction | I built my first vegetable garden 30 years ago - all of the grass on our postage stamp sized lot was replaced with garden beds & my journey began. While the garden was tiny, my enthusiasm wasn't. When we moved to our current house, the first thing I did was put in 4 raised veggie beds. Over the years, that little vegetable garden grew. Then, in 2021, it went through a major overhaul - new layout, 12 new beds, new fencing - the whole shebang. My love of ornamentals has also grown over the past few years – a LOT – and I'm constantly adding to - and sometimes completely redoing - the numerous perennial borders on our one acre property. My philosophy? Gardening is more about the journey than the destination. |
