Introduction Thirty(something) lover of words, cupcakes and friends. I'm a little lazy, a little creative, and a little boring. I like to think I'm witty, but maybe I make myself laugh more than anyone else. I like to shop for shoes and purses and really dislike shopping for groceries. I own a home and a car and a cat. I'm not sure what I'm doing here - on this blog or this earth - but I guess I'll just roll with the punches, because it is what it is!
Interests My friends and family, Mark (my nephew), Natalie (my niece), Molly the Cat, music of all kinds, almost anything on TLC - especially What Not To Wear, Oreo Blizzards, Harry Potter, crocheting and being crafty, reading for fun, my job which still feels new after almost a year, girly movies, music, shopping, mowing my lawn as long as its not ungodly hot, listening to music and singing loudly, singing when no music is playing, singing what I want to say instead of just saying it, talking with a lisp (its fun sometimes - you should try it), laughing and making people laugh, giving and receiving love, and did I mention I like music?
Favorite Movies Garden State, The Holiday, Old School, Grease, Dirty Dancing, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, 13 Going on 30, The Wedding Planner, this is too hard - I quit!
Favorite Music WOW! This is the HARDEST question for me to answer. Seriously. My favorites change often, so I'll list a few of my current favorites: Pretty much anything by Fall Out Boy, Held by Natalie Grant, Look After You by The Fray, Then I did by Rascal Flatts, Walk By Faith by Jeremy Camp, For Me This is Heaven and Cautioners by Jimmy Eat World, Smile by Lily Allen, Face Down by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Boston by Augustana, Boys of Summer by The Ataris, oh dear heavens - I could go on for hours!
Favorite Books Harry Potter, Anything by Jodi Picault, The Lovely Bones, Pieces of Glass, The Giver, and The Great Gatsby, among others!

You've been invited to a fancy ball but the only thing you have to wear is an orange wooly jumper. What shoes do you wear?

Because the shoe is the most important part of the outfit, the obvious choice is the sparkly orange and silver strappy sandals. However, if you wish to appear sophisticated, you wear the black pointy pumps with the kitten heel. Me, I’d just wear whatever shoes I pick up first because we all know I’ll kick them off as soon as Dixieland Delight gets played by the DJ and there’s no going back then…
