Introduction	Welcome to Two True Foodies. My name is Amy Gibson. Growing up I loved helping my mom and grandmothers in the kitchen and learning their tried and tested techniques. Of course the best part was eating their delicious recipes. I was blessed in that they are and were great cooks. My inspiration for cooking definitely came from them. I was lucky enough to grow up living in many different places in the U.S. and abroad and then traveled through work. As such I have experienced many different foods and cultures and love the variety of flavors that can be created in a dish. I am all about creating flavor in simple and easy dishes. At this site you'll find our favorite family recipes, recipe reviews, makeovers, cookbook reviews and just simple good food.
